I WAS TRYING TO DO A TUNE UP ON MY CAR AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THE SPARK PLUGS OR IGNITION COIL.

if memory servs right yours is coil on plug design.
if you see no spark plug wires, whatso ever then its coil on plug and there is a separate coil for each plug, and it is located right on top of the spark plug.
pontiac has a knack for hiding other ignition system spark plugs such as DIS plugs are usually under the vehicle way up in the back. you will need a lift.
