I had just left my house and was turning in the store and my car started to vibrate and make a funny noise. It was really bad when I turned the wheel. My first thought was that it had something to do with the wheels like the axle or bearings then I talked to some people and they said it might have something to do with the power steering.

I was afraid to drive it so it sat for a day and I started it the next day and it was fine. I did add a little PS fluid too.

Any ideas where the vibration could have came from? Should I be worried about it anymore since its fine now?

Thanks and I appreciate any help!

Raise car, put on stands. Grasp tire and push/pull both horizontally and vertically, if any movement then possible wheel bearing, ball joint, tie rod, control arm bushing.

Check CV boots for any signs of leakage or cuts/rips in rubber boot.

Also check PS pressure and return lines for leaks.
