Hello i hope you can help me i recently got a 2000 pontiac grand am GT when i went to drive it, it had hardly no power then cut off and would not start when looking for the problem we found oil in the throttle body what causes that and how can i fix it? Thank You for any help you can Give

First check the oil level and make sure it's not over filled. If it's okay then you have what is called blow-by. Either the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve is faulty and oil is in the throttle body due to excess crankcase pressure or the engine needs a new set of piston rings.
