Transmission problem
1999 Pontiac Grand Am 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
Its my girlfriends car, roughly 90k miles. I have just recent replaced the alt,fuel pressure regulator as well as doing the pan and filter and using a QT of lucas in it. The cars been shifting hard after just a few minutes of warming up. I know all the stuff I did besides the transmission filter ect wont help it. But its been like this for awhile and I just really havent had all the spare time to try and figure it out. I am not to great with transmissions, but I am car smart and read and search as much info as I can about any problem I dont understand. I came to the conclusion of a pressure control silenoid? possibly being the problem. If theres anything else I should check out please let me know. I have check all the connections and wires ect.
