Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic ? miles
This is a long one on a pontiac grand am with a 3100 sfl engine v6 had this car for a year almost no problems. Then aboiut a week ago the engine while driving bogged, sounded like only half the motor was working. Upon inspection of the problem at a garage all the mechanic spoke about was the timing for the pistons was off. At the sametime with the mechanic i started dislogging the air intake hose and filter, gas poored out. What would cause that to happen for only two pistons but have gas flow all the way back up and beyond where only air is suppose to be.
