Where is the Power Control Module located (i.e. how hard is it to removed and replace)? If I buy a used one, will it need programmed (or reprogrammed) like a new one would? If you think that's what's wrong.
My car is very base - only power locks and a/c. Otherwise very basic.
The interior lights recently started staying on and won't go off.
I have checked and replaced the fuses under the dash, and under the hood, since I don't have a tester. I also replaced the interior dimmer switch on the dash. I asked a mechanic at the dealership, and he thought it was the Body Control Module. When I called to order the part, they said there is no BCM for the '97 Grand Am, only a PCM.
Thank you.
