1997 Pontiac Grand Am lack of heat

Heater problem
1997 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 156.00 miles

i had to change the motor.i also changed the heater core at the same time.now the car has very little heat,the heater hoses are hot but the output is luke warm.any ideas????????????/
