Today our car was stuck in a snow drift, when a friend stopped to pull us out they hooked up chain to wrong part and as it was towed they snapped what looks to me to be a hose that runs from where you fill your car up with gas to inside the gas tank. My question is..what will it take to repair this, is it possible to do without going to a auto shop, and if not can you guesstimate on the cost I am looking at?

If they hooked up to the fuel feed line, then you may have to replace tank.

Best approach is to get to shop for estimate.
