I FINALLY figured out that a clogged passage port to the egr valve, and a disconnected evap service line was the the cause of 2 trouble codes I was getting. Fixed that! Cleared the codes, and drove the car for a few days. Evap & egr monitors never set to ready. First mistake, I disconnected the negative cable from the battery. Drove for 2 weeks (highways & streets), and still Not Ready.

Car runs, and sounds a lot better than when the egr passage was still clogged. Tried this drive cycle I found online, but still didn't work. Any ideas welcomed, and thanks in advance!
