I have a strange feeling my master cylinder needs replacing, but I am not sure if my car has ABS. I got it used and had no book or anything with it. Any ideas? Without ABS, a master cylinder is about 80 dollars, and with ABS is goes up to 250, so I'm hoping I don't. Any help would be appreciated.

Look at the front wheels (inside), with ABS there should be wheel sensor connectors.

You could also look at both Master cylinders at an autoparts store, and match them up (take a digital photo with you).

Before you buy a MC, inspect the brake calipers for leaks, as well as the flex hoses and hard lines.
