1995 Pontiac Grand Am starter silenoid

Was engine rotating before you changed starter?

If so, then I would check fuel pressure and spark.

Starter would not disable fuel or ignition.

Got up this morning and the car wouldn't start. Changed the battery and it still wouldn't start. Pulled the starter out and had it tested. It was bad so put a new starter and silenoid in. It will turn over but not actualy start. When I was getting the starter in and out I noticed that 2 of the 3 smaller wires that go onto the big bolt of the silenoid got bent, not sure if they broke cause the plastic is still attached, of the wire. Trying to get the starter in I know bent them quite a bit. So, does any of those wires controle the fuel pump? Or, goes to the spark plugs? Not sure if it's not getting fuel or spark to the plugs. Would it even turn over if there is a break in one of those wires?

Found out that the wire was broke inside. Fixed that and then found out that the crankshaft position sensor, located on the block under the starter, cracked. Once I replaced that it fired right over. Thanks for your reply.
