I cannot find the EGR Valve on my 95 Grand Am SE.
I have called a dealership and its not where they said it was. they just described it as a silver beer can looking thing with a black top :|. That looks like a canister on the firewall too.

i have a 16v Quad 4 DOHC where is my EGR Valve located?

I found something that looks similar to the dealerships description under the exhaust manifold

Someone else may want to chime in on this, but I don't believe the Quad 4 uses an EGR valve.

I know the 88-92 quads did not use one.

There should be an emmissions sticker inside the hood, and it would say wheather it was equipped with EGR.

The EGR would transfer burnt exhaust gases to the intake manifold, so inspect the exhaust and look for a small pipe connecting exhaust to EGR.

Change the O2 sensor and check for excessive backpressure from the convertor.
