My Radiator Fan just quit while I was driving and now doesnt work anymore, I cant drive more than a couple miles and It's steaming.MyQuestion is two-fold:... 1)Firstly, Is there a fuse or relay to check?,If so I just dont know where it is or where to look- I've looked in the fuseBox inside the car on the leftside dash- but the descrriptions are either too general or abbreviated to a point I dont know what they even mean,a fuse/sensor would be cheaper and easier option (I'm guessing-I fix computers for a living, Im more of a geek than a mechanic -HELP PLEASE .....2)Second-if replacement is necessary-What do I need to buy??the entire Fan and motor OR Is It possible to buy a Fan Motor ONLY?-How difficult is It to Do?Is there an online source to get Instructions/directions-....I realize It's "ask A Question.....SORRy BOUT THAT!-..I'll be Donating for the question-thanks for your time....

The radiator cooling fan relay is located .

Under hood, center, upper firewall, mounted in relay group above engine.

I would replace this first . If it allows the fan to run then the fan motor shouldn't need replacing .

The relay for this particular vehicle is about $16 at the most .

Mine ended up being to the left side under a bunch of stuff that made it hard to see at first, although I did have one relay in the center mounted on the firewall.

Unfortunately, the fan relay was tied to a little rack along with four other identical relays.

How to find which one operates the fan?

Ran the car around the block a few times to heat things up, then with fan running, started unplugging relays until I found the one that controlled the fan.

My initial problem was the fan wouldn't turn off!!!

I wasn't sure that group of relays was the one, since I found the one on the firewall wasn't it. I hit the top relay in that group of five with the screw driver handle and fan turned off.

Just had to find out which one was the fan relay.

Problems solved.
