The symptoms of this vehicle are potentially dangerous, I have found myself stalled in the middle of intersections and on-ramps. An example is by pressing the gas peddle on a green light, the vehicle stalls and sputters trying to get going, until it dies. It starts again just fine, then it will happen again, a third time in and I can start driving without any symptoms. But after a while I let go of the gas peddle to reduce speed (no matter what speed I'm at) the symptom occurs again while I am driving forward. It seems as though the engine is starving itself of fuel at low rpm. The rpm seems to come down to 500 to 800 when this occurs, then to zero of course. My local mechanic is scratching his head, we checked diagnostics on the computer and there are no errors found. We replaced the fuel filter, pump and spark plugs, the problem persists. I have added fuel injector cleaner and even burned every drop of fuel from the tank. Is there something that I am missing?

Possibly the TPS, check the voltage it should change as throttle is opened, movment should be smooth. Then check the Ignition module.
