During cold or wet weather, the gauge inside the car drops (back to 100) and the cooling fans kick on. Yet when you take the positive cable off the battery for a few seconds and replace it then the gauge starts reading again and the fans shut off. I have replaced the temp sensor yet this problems is an ongoing thing.
