I just replaced the wheel bearings and hubs in front end of my car.
The humming noise went away about 70 percent but there is still a humming noise going on.
The mechanic says it is the tires. They are wearing unevenly. Is this a correct evaluation or can it be something else. I can not see any visual wearing of the tire unless it is minute and I know nothing about cars.
Do you think it may be tirods or cv joints instad of the tires?
I had the car aligned when I got the bearings done and the car still bears to the right.

It could be the tires. Have them rotated to see if there is a change in the sound or where it is coming from. Also, if the car pulls to the right, take it back and have it rechecked for alignment. If they did it, they owe you that much if it is pulling for you.

Let me know what you find.
