yes you have to remove the entire headlamp to access the bulbs.
Here's how
Remove the bolts from the headlamp assembly.
Remove the push-in-retainers across the front fascia.
Pull the headlamp forward to release the locating tab from the front of the fender, then lift the headlamp up to release from vehicle.
