Hi,

It is mid December here is Thunder bay, Canada and temperature is about -10 to -15 outside! The car does come from a warmer climate and when I let the car warm up for 10 minute and the car is still cold, front window does not defrosted very much and takes a long time to warm up the inside of car. I have a temperature gauge on the dash that says it is 62 degrees Celsius most of the time, the highest I have seen it was 70 degrees Celsius. Is it the thermostat? Or could it be something else? What temperature should a car’s coolant run at?

Thanks

The engine coolant should run near 195 degrees F. Is the temp gauge getting to a normal operating temp?
