Drive shaft is rubbing against the tunnel

My son owns a 97 Pontiac, WS6 Trans Am. The car has 54000 miles on it. Supercharged LT1 approximately 600 HP. Six speed tranny with a Stage 3 clutch.

The aluminum driveshaft seems to be rubbing against the emergency brake cable holder in drive line tunnel. The drive shaft is slightly scored less than a 1/32 of an inch.
I had to remove the torque arm that runs parallel to the drive shaft. I found the torque arm was damaged. The upper attachment point of the torque arm that attaches to the rear-end was torn away from the top of the pumpkin. I also found that the arm was warped and rubbing against the drive shaft. I also replaced the rear shocks. I decided to drive the car slowly down the street to see if the rubbing had stopped. It has not. I am beginning to think the maybe the rear-end has rotated slightly causing a clearance issue or maybe a motor mount or a transmission mount may have failed. I do not seem to have the rubbing when in reverse.

I plan on putting in a heavy duty torque arm once I fix this problem. And install heavy duty rear lower control arms.

Any ideas or suggestions?

With everything new the d-shaft only clears by a small amount,You need to replace the torque arm before it has a chance of clearing everything. I would replace the d-shaft if it has any grooves in it, greatly weakens the structural integrity, it is only aluminum
