Havinig issues with getting heat in the car. When driving I get little heat (it has been decreasing over time), but at idle it just blows cooled. I have flushed the system recently and am fighting the dex-cool slug. Heat failing is what caused me to do the flush. at highway speed I run at about 2200rpm and Idle at about 7-800 (I think). Wondering if it could be the water pump, but I do not see anything leaking out of the eyelet hole. I have been checking the coolent level and it is not low sence the flush. Can you think of anything that I am missing or that I can check?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Feel hoses to core they should both have heat one a little hotter. If not one hot one cold core is pluged. Pull hoses flush not too much pressure.

Thanks for the responce, I have already tried to flush the core (sort of). I have installed a flush kit on the car, pulled both hoses out of the block and clamped the hose with the hose connection after the T. This forced the water to go through the heater core (sort of flushing it with out taking it out of the car). Issue is that I let it run for ~1/2 hour and it ran only clean, never saw any thing get flushed out of the Heater core when I did this. any thoughts?

Blend door problem door that closes and allows air flow only across heater core is not closing. Have little motors that operate.
