I got my Firebird back in October. It ran great, and everything worked perfectly. The day after I bought it(used) the electric windows stopped working. The next problem is occasionally when I start the engine the trip meter will reset and the rpm gauge will go all the way up but does not effect the motor. The car locks sometimes stops working. The car alarm has never worked, but when I unlocked it today the alarm went off, and to stop it I had to turn the engine on. It is quite a nuisance. Is there any easy solution to this problem?[img:626e433c3a]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/299564_Jericho_1.jpg[/img:626e433c3a]

My trans am is also having some "system-wide" problems. Doing some searching, I found some things that suggested that these types of problems have to do with the "Body Control Module", which controls a lot of different electrical components in your car.

Take a look at this link, it's a bunch of selected Q&As from this site.

Search for Body Control Module and you'll see what I mean.
