my haynes manual had me check the ignition module connector.the car had codes of 16,36 ,42.I checked the B terminal with a voltmeter for A/C voltage.I got a reading of about .2 for the check.1 to 4 volts it says to check something else and 0 volts it says to check the ECM/PCM.I just last week had the ignition module and distributor replaced.also today I checked the other 3 terminals and the checked out good.it gets over 10 volts at a & d and c has continuity.I also checked the connector from the ECM/PCM it checked out fine. the car will not start.after I got it back from the mechanic I parked it the next day it started for about a second and has not started again.for about the past 6 months the car has been hard to start .it would not start without some cranking.not all the time but getting more often.the wires and plugs are new.any help?

Well here is what I come up with. It you only had code 16 then we would be doing some testing. However you have code 42 with code 16 which indicates that the PCM is bad. So with that you will need to replace it. You should be able to buy one at one of you local parts stores.
