1994 Pontiac Firebird my gas pedal

Welcome to the site. Don't get me talking about throttle cables and cable housing, hope that isn't your problem? I'm working on one now, 88 chevy, fwd. Part discontinued from dealership. I didn't feel like fooling around the salvage-yard trying to find something that would fit. Got a universal throttle cable and housing, nothing matches up. Sorry about the gripping, haven't had my coffee this morning.

You might raise the pedal, use block of wood or something to hold it up, then check the throttle cable at the throttle body. See if you can pull slack in the cable, check cable housing also.
