1994 Pontiac Firebird Inaccurate Fuel Guage

When filling up, the fuel guage will go to the FULL possition.
As gas is used, the fuel guage will decrease until it reaches slightly above the HALF of a tank mark.
The fuel guage will NOT decrease past this point.

Any Ideas?
