Engine Performance problem
1976 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

What is the correct sequence to adjust my rocker arms?

I can't remember and do you have copies of pictures to assist?

Thank you again, you've been a great help.

Easiest way is to remove all plugs, rotate engine to #1 firing position, you can adjust intake and exhaust.
Back off adjusting nut to get a little play, grasp pushrod and CAREFULLY move up and down while tightening adjustment nut, when pushrod will no longer move you are at 0 lash, rotate nut an additional 1 turn (360 degrees) to get preload.

Rotate to next firing position and adjust intake and exhaust. Repeat until all valves are adjusted.

Sorry, could not find pics on a car this old.
