Brakes problem
1967 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
After 9 months of work my 68 Firebird is nearing completion. Today was fill and bleed brakes. There in lies the problem. When I started with the rear passenger side brake I did get some air, not much. I then went to the drivers side rear and got pretty much the same thing, small amount of air. The front discs provides no air at all. The reason this is strange is that I replaced all the brake lines and upgraded to discs in front. The level of brake fluid did not go down and the front discs do not clamp. Any ideas????? The rears are the stock drums.Front discs have stainless hoses, rears are all stainless tubing, no kinks. I did upgrade from manual drums to a power disc setup with drums in the rear.
