1984 fiero cuts off after one hour of driving

I own a 1984 pontiac fiero that after on or about an hour the car shuts off and wont start back until it cools off. No indication of overheating. I changed all the sensors, relays, cooling and injection. At times after the engine shuts down it would start back by itself.


Please help me.

this is a common problem with the distributor itself. the magnets on the shaft heat up and quit doing their job. when it cools down it will start again.
