Engine Performance problem
1999 Pontiac Bonneville V8 Automatic 150000 miles
My 1999 Pontiac Bonneville dies driving down the road when the motor gets warmed up. Initially, we took it to a shop and they replaced the crank sensor. It worked ok for a few weeks and then started doing it again. We tested the alternator and battery and they were showing weak so we replaced them but it is still happening. Could the weak alternator have shorted out the new crank sensor and caused it to act up again or is it something else?
