1996 Pontiac Bonneville Blower motor is new

Hi I just installed a new blower motor, and bought the resistor to go with it, because I assume it also burned out , but I cannot find the placement of the resistor on the car, I looked on the firewall, near the blower, and even under the dash, near the fusebox. no luck, I am turning to you to inform me of it's location, because I am stumped I do not have a service manual, or access to one
