Hi : i have to change the heater core and can not figure out how to get behind the dash board. is there any where to get a schamatic drawing.

I have searched all the commercial auto manuals but none have anything about heater core or dashboard removal. they all have radiator and water pump but no core.

Welcome to the forum, thanks for the donation. I have been looking for an exploded view of hvac system, haven't found it yet. Under the hood, at the firewall, where the heater hoses plug in, is there a panel with screws, if so, remove the panel, see if you can get at the heater core. As far as removing the hoses form the heater core, I don't fool with it, I use a utility knife, be careful, split the hose on the core fitting and peel it off. If that makes the hose too short, get some new hose.

if memory serves right there should be a little panel on the inside passanger center council under the dash you should be able to remove the cover and pull out the core through there.
