My car has been acting really weird, it starts than after I shut it off after driving 15, 20 miles it starts than acts like it's gna die, like it's runnin out of gas, then I put it in gear and it dies, and we check the fuel pressure and it has a lot of air in when we press down on the valve, than I get the air out and let it set for 5 or so minutes than it starts up and goes but still acts really weird, like it's running out of gas, we also put heet in the tank and it hasn't seemed to help, and the fuel pressure Was like 19 and it's supposed to be 40 or something, we changed the fuel filter and raised the fuel pressure to 23, 24, but it still dosent run right. Can you please help me?

Your fuel pressure is really low it's suppose to be 41-47psi i posted how to test your fuel pressure regulator and your fuel pressure spec's.Also if you have a dead blow hammer while the car is running and you have your fuel pressure gauge hooked up have someone watch the fuel pressure while you turn the hammer side way's and smack in the middle of the tank don't go crazy but give it a couple good smack's to see if the pressure goes up.Also check the vacuum to your fuel pressure regulator make sure it's good and you have manifold vacuum to it when the car is idling. Also while watching the fuel pressure at idle trying taping on the fuel pressure regulator and see if that change's the pressure any.Let me know what you find.
