Code PO446 Evap control circuit

Had to replace purge valve because it didn't want to start when you filled it up. Now it is showing PO446 the evap control circuit. Any help would be appreciated. Ken Black

The code - P0446: EVAP Emission System vent control circuit

This can get triggered due to a bad connection, faulty canister close valve, this can also be triggered due to an issue with the ECM.

First make sure the connector for the valve is secure. If it has dirt or debris, it will be unable to send a proper signal and will trigger the light.
