how do i torque down the heads on a 2000 plymouth voyager 2.4L engine the book tells me to torque it down 25lbs, 50lbs, 50lbs and then 90%.
What does it mean 50lbs and 50lbs. i have all ready torque them down and when i got it running the oil pumped into the radiator, what did i do wrong.

What they are having you do is go over and retorque it to 50lbs. The head bolts can stretch, the casket can smash, so it's a way to make sure it's done correctly.
