1999 Plymouth Voyager Rotor clip?

I replaced my rotors and my brake pads. When I took the old rotors off, there was a thin metal locking washer? that was on one of the tire studs on each rotor. I think that it kept the rotor from shifting. At the time I didn't think that it was a crucial part. When I test drove after I finished, there is a rubbing sound similar to if the emergency break is on or stuck. Could the rotor be shifting and rubbing on the break pads? Is there a repacement washer I can get?

THe lock washer shouldn't be necessary; something else is probably rubbing, possibly an anti-rattle clip. You many have encountered these holding the pads in place.

As stated, rotor lock washers are not needed, but here is why: They are used at the factory to hold the rotor in place (so it doesn't fall off) during assembly on the assembly line. They serve no other purpose and should be discarded after the first time the rotor is removed.
