My van had a cracked oil pan, which i replaced, but the check engine light comes on when it gets to operating temperature. It first only came on when it was a stop lights or stop signs, but would go out when i applied the gas and brake at the same time to increase the idle, now it comes on even when i am doing high speeds.
Can it be a bad oil pressure sending unit? Or what else can it be- I am hoping not the complete engine.
Where is the unit located and is it able to be tested or should i just replace the part as it is rather inexpensive
