Electrical problem
1999 Plymouth Voyager 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 200K miles
The cooling fan will occassionaly come on for a minute after the engine is turned off and the key removed. The car is not designed to do that. Our local mechanic is saying to take it to the dealer becuase the Power Control Module is sending a signal to the fan that it shouldn't be sending, making it come on when it shouldn't. The PCM is less than 2 years old. Is this repairable without replacing the PCM? Any other suggestions?
