1998 Plymouth Voyager wipers won't turn off

I have sent the diagnostic files to you. BCM location is shown.

In your reply, you state that "the appropriate scan tool is required". Can you tell me exactly what scan tool is required so I can determine if I will go buy one or not.

Generic scan tools an be used but it might not be able to perform all necessary test functions. To be fully compatible, it should be equivalent to Chrysler Diagnostic Readout Box.

Everything is clear down to step 4. Resistance from Wiper On Relay terminal C to ground is open (infinite resistance). This step tells me that the problem is the BCM.

Can you explain to me why this tells me the BCM is bad? What is the resistance from this terminal to ground supposed to be?

From the steps, it does not indicate the BCM is bad. The resistance should be below 100 ohms, but did not indicate if it should be open, which you mentioned is infinity, indicating open circuit. For this you should be checking the wiper ON relay control circuit.

If resiatance is 100 ohms or more, the BCM has internal fault, possibly some part is not working correctly due to high resistance.

Go through Step 5 and see if there is any problem.

Could you tell me where the wiper on relay circuit is? The picture in the original documents you sent me point to some location that isn't clear to me.
