The low fuel light keeps coming on and going right back off. There is plenty of gas in the van and it only stays on for a split second. The dinging is the most annoying part. I checked with my normal mechanic and he said it is actually in the gas tank and it will be $100.00 alone to drop the gas tank and another $150.00 or higher to replace this part. My question is, is there a fuse to just disable the indicator from coming on in the car. Will this affect any other car functions?
