My van a/c unit was replaced with a new one, as soon as the vehicle started moving a really high pitched squeeling then no more cool air and no more belt. I tested the coolant level and its right in range,I tried loosening and tightening the a/c belt and subsequently went through 3 more. I know the compressor is good, there are no leaks, the tensioner is o.k., the pressure is optimal. Could it have anything to do with the pcm located in front of the battery? I heard you could manually reset it, but of course the manual is not chilton's by far. I thought that if the a/c compressor cycles are regulated thru this module maybe the constant unregulated power to the comp. is what may be going on. can you help?
