airbag light issue

MY AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON IN MY DASHBOARD, I WOULD TO KNOW THE PROBLEM AND IF IT IS THE CLOCKSPRING WHERE IT IS SITUATE IN MY VEHICLE.
ALSO WHEN DRIVING MY TRANSMISSION REVS AT 4000 RPM WHEN I REACH 40 MPH WHAT IS THE POSSIBLE CAUSE AND HOW CAN I FIX IT.

Hi there,

To help narrow down both problems, i would start with a scan as this will identify the SRS fault and possibly the trans fault as well, any SRS work should be carried out by a qualified tech as serious injury can result if not handled correctly.

Clock spring is the most common failure
it was such a bad design Chrysler had to extend the warranty 100K
Need to have it checked for codes

will need to have the restraint system scanned to retrieve the trouble code(s) that are stored since the airbag light is on. as for the tranny issue, there may be a sensor or solenoid not working properly preventing tranny from shifting.
