1996 Plymouth Voyager washer pump, air bag

The front washer pump doesn't seem to activate. Rear washer works fine, so system isn't frozen. Also, warning light for emergency air bag restraint system has come on following onset of washer problem. Any suggestions?

THere is a sensor mounted near the washer bottle. THere is a chance both the sensor and the front washer pump may be disconnected.

Here is what I need you to do. Raise and support the vehicle and remove the right front tire. Next, remove the inner splash shield. Once removed, check the wiring going to the motor and air bag sensor. NOTE: If everything is connected, check for power to the front motor. IF it is getting power, then the motor is bad. This is the time to replace it. remove the tank to access it.

As far as the air bag, if everything looks good, have the computer scanned to determine where the problem is coming from. Most parts stores will do it for free.
