My van has a horrible smell coming from the right front wheel and pours smoke from it. I was told the calibur was locking up. Yesterday the calibur and brake pads were replaced. I rook it out today and not even 7 miles from the house it started stinking. I turned around and came back home and by the time I reached the drive way it was pouring smoke and stinking, like metal burning. The parts put on it were brand new. Any other suggestions as to what it can be and can it catch fire if I drive it? As you can see in the picture my son also replaced the pads on the left wheel.

You most likely have a bad flex brake hose. I also want to advise that whatever you do to one side of the car, you should also be doing to the other side.
