My AC when turned on makes a whirring noise like it winds up then shuts down winds up shuts down, i believe i have located it to the compressor. Today i checked the PSI on the low pressure port and while running with the AC on the gage goes from 0-55 the compresser kicks on at 0 bumps it up to 55 and then kicks off, all within a matter of 15 seconds or so, it just repeats this cycle 0 to 55, 0 to 55. I tried to add more refrigerent and the only thing that changes was when the compressor kicked on it went from 0 and climbs to 57 then kicks off. So it should be fine on refrigerent, is there a sensor or something that is wrong?
