1995 plymouth grand voyager door ajar driving me crazy

The door ajar light and interior lights come on when we hit most bumps and at times stays on coninuously. At times it will go for a few days without any problems. The dinging is driving me crazy. I use the dimmer to turn off the lights when it does this. Can you help me?
