1995 Other Plymouth Models Hard knocking under van

My van has been pulling to the right and now theres a loud knocking from under the passenger side. Its worse when im turning right. I was told my (bushings in my sway bar?) are gone. And also my cv joint on that side is going out. I have to drive it, and I wanted to know how dangerous this is and would it cause my "check engine" light to come on? Id appreciate any info I can get. Im really nervous about driving it but I have kids and other responsibilities and Id like to know what im getting into. Thank you.
