I have a 1994 Plymouth Grand Voyger [6cylinder] with heating problems.I replaced the thermostat and top radiator hose and backflush the system but still had little heat. The heater hoses are hot and so is the radiatorhose. So i figured that air was trapped in the systembut no bleeders are installed.I took out the temp.sending unit and made my own bleeder and it worked,I got heat. But whe I take the van out for a test drive I LOOSE HEAT.All hoses are still hot.So i bleed it again and still have the same problem ,over and over again. What else can I DO.This has me stumped.Could there be another problem that causing this to happen

If both hoses going to nd from the heater are the same temp as the hose going to the rad, then it may be an air delivery problem. Oneve of the motors that operate teh vents may be stuck in the open position.and letting cold air in all the time. The only other thing i can think of is the water pump impeller spinnng on the shaft of the water pump, but i would think y ou are hving an overheat with that. Alsomake sure that your system is full of fluid, and that means that the coolant bottle is up to the hot mark when it's full....................
