1973 Other Plymouth Models weak battery

Hi There.I have a 73 Ply roadrunner with a built 318.My question is.Can a weak starter make the battery seem weak or dead?.

a weak battery will make the starter turn over slowly .. and a faulty starter could turn over slowly with the symptoms of a weak battery .. a battery needs 12.5 volts to turn over engine .. if you have 12.5 volts in your battery probably the starter is faulty .. hope this helps
