i just bought the car and was told that there was a timing chaim but i think there is just a belt. Ive seen the belt and it doesnt look bad or loose so what do i do? take the valve cover off and then then head and check everything out just to make sure but what do you guys think i should do??? it is a 2.0 DOHC interference motor.

your vehicle has a timing belt and manufacturer recommends replacing it every 105,000 miles..
