Transmission fluid check

Hi,
I always have my transmission fluid checked at the garage but I was wondering how to check this myself...I have misplaced my owners manual...my car is a 1998 Plymouth Breeze 4door Sedan automatic transmission 150,000 kilometers. Also how much fluid does this car take??

Engine hot, running in park, pull the dip stick out. Clean the stick and recheck. It should be in the OK zone.
