Hello, my car makes a "popping" sound when I either accelerate quickly, brake quickly or hit a bump fairly hard. I had the front and rear motor mount replaced on the driver side about a month ago and it started making this noise the same day after that was done. I am not sure whether to replace the motor mounts on the other side or if it could be the shocks or struts. It also continues to vibrate pretty hard when I am stopped at a light or stop sign, which I was assured it would stop doing after the motor mounts were replaced. Thank you for your help.

yes if you you are getting a lot of vibration, especially while at a stop, that is an indication of bad motor mounts. you may have replaced the wrong ones
